In 2024, as global artificial intelligence was setting off waves of industrial transformation, a team of entrepreneurs and educators began rethinking the globalization path of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern business methods. The iHealthUnity platform was thus founded, drawing on over 30 years of industry experience — its team having built multiple listed companies and enterprises — to explore a brand-new path for TCM to break through cultural barriers and reach the world.

Founder Andy Zhou's journey of transformation began with an observation spanning more than a decade. From Western medicine to Traditional Chinese Medicine, he founded the iHealthUnity platform in 2024 with the mission of "letting the world witness TCM," assembling a global team of experts and injecting modern business execution efficiency into the ancient "meridians" of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Andy Zhou has rich experience in guiding startups to success, having founded or co-founded iHealthUnity, DW REALTY, Monster Rice, Tahe Corp and other companies, with over a decade of leadership experience in the United States.
Core Competitiveness Lies in Cultural Heritage
"The core competitiveness lies in the cultural heritage," Andy Zhou pointed out. "TCM is a medical system that originated in China. Our students have a natural advantage in understanding the theories of yin-yang, the five elements, qi, blood and body fluids — often achieving twice the results with half the effort. Americans can learn the techniques, but it is difficult for them to penetrate the essence at the linguistic and philosophical level." Among the program's alumni, one came to the US with zero foundation to pursue a master's and PhD in TCM, and now practices independently in California with a green card; another graduate chose to teach at a TCM university in the US. These cases confirm the value of the "ecosystem cycle": students learn theory in class, apply it in the clinic, and after employment bring practical experience back to the classroom, making the entire system increasingly vibrant.
